How do you know if you’re in the correct repair range for an appliance?
In the UK, the Home Office (HO) and Home Inspectorate (HOI) can help you check the appliance’s safety rating.
They have published their own online guide on how to get the right rating.
This means that it’s easy to compare appliances across different models.
To get the latest appliance repair advice from both HOI and HOHI, check out our review of the latest and best appliances.

How do I compare appliances?
You can check the manufacturer’s ratings online using the product name, model and year, or by clicking on the ‘Compare Now’ button at the top of each section.
We use a combination of these measures to make sure you can get the best advice.
If the appliance has a low rating, or the rating is lower than that of a replacement, you can usually check the value of the appliance.
However, there are some other ways to compare models.
If there are different prices for different models, you may be able to get a better deal if you look at the difference between the prices of the models.
Check the appliance is listed in the UK’s latest manufacturer’s guide.
For example, if an appliance is priced at £849.99, you might be able do a comparison by looking at the price difference between £8.49 and £949.99.
The best way to compare two appliances is to find out how much you would pay for each model.
This is called a comparative appliance value (CAV).
A comparison of a product’s price using CAV means you can compare it to other similar products that have the same price.
For instance, if you buy a £1,100 appliance, you could compare the price of the £1.00 model to a £3,000 appliance.
This will give you an idea of how much the appliance costs.
If a different price has been offered, you’ll need to use the ‘Price Comparison’ button to compare the prices.
The comparison may give you a better idea of the price and the cost of the appliances in question.
If an appliance has been sold, the appliance will be listed in its current manufacturer’s Guide.
If this is the case, you should compare the model’s price to a similar model.
A comparison between two appliances might give you more information than if you bought them both at the same time.
To do this, you need to go to the appliance information and advice section of the website and click on ‘Compare now’.
You’ll then need to search the database for information about the different models of the same appliance.
We recommend you use this search tool for a better understanding of which models of an appliance are being used and why.
We’ve listed some of the most common comparisons below.
What if the appliance doesn’t come with a manufacturer’s warranty?
If you’ve bought an appliance from the same manufacturer, you don’t need to worry if the warranty covers the product, or if it has a replacement guarantee.
However if you’ve purchased a new appliance from a different manufacturer, the warranty may need to cover some or all of the repairs you need, and you may need a full warranty from the manufacturer.
This may mean you need a replacement warranty, or you may not be able pay for repairs yourself.
This isn’t the case for the most popular brands.
