A customer has died after a kitchen appliance broke down in her home
A customer who died in a New South Wales home after an appliance malfunctioned has been named the first person to die from a broken appliance.

The family was cleaning up after a party at their home when the malfunctioning appliance occurred, Wyndample police said.
Police said the woman’s family reported it to Wyndambeg police and they were notified by the Royal North Shore Fire Brigade.
She was taken by ambulance to hospital, where she later died.
Police are still investigating the cause of the incident.
